2010 POINTS CHALLENGE SERIES

Conditions of Tournament:

Players must be members of the Greg Norman Golf Foundation.
Players must have a current Golf Australia handicap and be Under 18 years of age as at 15/2/09.
Players must compete in at least 5 of the 8 Challenge rounds listed to be eligible for the Champion Trophy.
(If competed in all 8 events the worst 3 rounds may be deleted)

When a player changes Divisions they will carry over accumulated points, but to win the overall Gross/Nett in that Division they must compete at least 3 times in that Division.

Handicap Divisions Boys:    
Division 2:  11- 19
Division 3:  20 - 27

Girls: - These girls divisions may vary depending on the number of competitors
Division 1:   0 - 22
Division 2:  23 - 45

Points will be allocated as follows:
1 - 20pts            6 - 10pts
2 - 18pts            7 - 8pts
3 - 16pts            8 - 6pts
4 - 14pts            9 - 4pts
5 - 12pts          10 - 2pts

If a tie for positions the same number of points allocated for that spot will be awarded to each player.

The Classic Champion Winner (Boy/Girl) will be decided by the most points attained in their handicap division on Gross Score over 5 of the 8 rounds.
A Nett Winners Trophy will also be awarded in handicap division.
Daily trophies will be awarded Gross and Nett.
The Tournament Committee appointed by the Greg Norman Golf Foundation shall have sole control of the tournament with the power to alter or vary any of the conditions, at any time, including scheduling another day or venue should it be deemed necessary.  The Tournament Committee's decision on all matters affecting the Tournament shall be final.
The Rules of Golf as adopted by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews shall apply together with such local Rules as approved by the Tournament Committee.
Caddies are permitted during this Challenge.
No player can win more than one trophy at each event.
During any round of the Challenge competitors may not travel in or on any motorised vehicle, unless authorised by the Tournament Committee.  Two strokes for each hole at which any breach occurred.  Maximum penalty per round 4 strokes.  
The use of Mobile Phones by players, caddies or spectators is strictly prohibited in the precincts of the golf course.
Evidence of current handicap is to be produced at the start of each round.  Competitors playing on an incorrect handicap will be disqualified from the handicap section of the challenge.
Pace of Play - Rule 6-7 will be strictly enforced.
Smoking and the consumption of Alcohol is prohibited during  play and in the Clubhouse.
